2. I'm still deciding.
3. I started a "blog" on MySpace back in 2007, ongoingneverendingstory, which was a cleverly creative idea, but I was too into the drug scene back then to keep it going. I joined the Trifecta group and blogspot just today and look forward to clean and sober writing challenges and blog postings.
4. I entered a poem in an online poetry contest earlier this week:
Above Beyond
Lifted eyes wild and bright
Instantly entranced at such a sight
Through the sky whizzing by
a trail of smoke signals left behind
The earth shakes, rumbles at the core
glittering embers of fireworks grace galore
the sky as never they have before.
In an instant, the world has changed,
will it ever be the same again?
Panic races across the land,
grid-lock and looting and robbing and mayhem,
most will have to now live with no plan at all.
Into the brush to hide and take cover,
some would trek with bare necessities
to unite with a like-minded new humanity.
From the few who will survive,
the seed of life will spread and thrive.
Becoming who we never here
on earth have been
able to be.
Knowing what they do,
and how we once did live
in the society of today our people will never forget.
They will take with great pride
the teaching of their child,
how to love not how
to hate
cheat or to fight.
Thousands of years will pass and be lived
In a wondrous Universe, a multi Verse, at best
Our species will thrive and live life anew
the progression of us
and how to find peace,
love and healthy happiness,
With goodwill in their hearts they travel, by and by,
In exploration of man into the great abyss of space and time.
Survival of the fittest is the key,
Soon we will know the true skill of surviving as a
Celestial family.
So read this and know, that one day this could be
The very picture I have painted with words you now conceive.
Live now with love of the human family tree
and know we cover its branches with many, many leaves.
5. Mentorship
6. "You should write your life story" a Facebook posting by an ex-lover. Until I received that comment, I only ever thought of doing it. I knew I had something to say and his comment put my thoughts into action. I have always enjoyed writing, as did my mother, who has truly inspired me the most.
